Municipal Landing is a collection of vignettes and sketches that I’m planning to expand into a more cohesive setting: it’s a takedown of mind-numbing corporate suburbs and a reluctant homage to the kinds of meaning you can find in even the most mundane of spaces. I originally intended for this to be a speculative office campaign setting lightly inspired by the show Severance and the game Kentucky Route Zero, but it spiraled into something a bit too abstract for traditional TTRPG play. For all of us who grew up yearning to escape our office parks and strip mall sprawls—may the stars shine, ever fluorescent, above those asphalt lanes. |
