INTER.TXT PRESS ←

INFO

aims to publish works in dialogue, not create discrete objects; to prioritize trans, queer, bipoc, and marginalized voices; to iterate and tinker; to play with the boundaries of printed forms; to offer educational materials; to distribute mutual aid zines; to carve alternative futures in publishing; to make endless bookmarks; to celebrate the written word. If you're interested in collaborating, or just want to chat about zines, please reach out at intertxtpress (@) gmail (.) com.

For now, publications are only available at local zine fairs in the Chicago area or through individual requests. If you would like to purchase specific texts, please inquire via email! You can also find free downloads of select works on itch.io. Follow on Instagram for more regular updates.

Small presses are a rich ecology of interconnected relations; there is no existence of a single press or publisher that isn't informed by the work of many others. As such, below are some publishing projects that Inter.txt Press takes inspiration from, and that you should check out. Bookstores, imprints, artists—as the lovely folks at Inga emphasized via flyers at their sixth anniversary party: "One publishes to find comrades!" Indeed!
