⁁Inter.txt Press is a micro publishing practice with a focus on zines, speculative print ephemera, and textual worldmaking. Currently, it’s in a soft launch stage with the goal of slow and deliberate emergence over the next few years. The press name is a play on “intertext,” emphasizing the prefix “inter” as between, among, in midst, as well as a gesture to the simplicity of “.txt” files. The press logo is a caret insertion point, a mark often used in proofreading to indicate where an additional letter, word, phrase, or punctuation mark should be added. Want to collab on a zine or make something together? Reach out at intertxtpress (at) gmail (dot) com. I’m particularly interested in work about queer+trans life, mutual aid, bipoc local histories, premodern literature, internet cultures, and speculative fiction. |
