Ecstatic Hyperbole (2025)

5.5'' x 8.5'' / 20 pages
Inkjet on printer paper

Opening reception booklet for Ecstatic Hyperbole, a duo exhibition at Elastic Arts featuring works by artists Sarah Kim and Zante Moore, curated by Yeeseon Chae. The show presents installation, video, and interactive works, following the textures of memes and media tropes to question subjecthood in internet culture: what bleeds through to the other side from url to irl? Bringing up questions of origin, authority, and digital decay, Kim and Moore examine the overwhelming pace of digital spaces that vastly shape our shared language and identities.

Early on in the process of planning the exhibition, Yeeseon conducted an interview with Sarah and Zante to discuss the influences and artistic practices behind their work. I copyedited, typeset, and printed the interview as a booklet to accompany the exhibition's opening reception.
